We have been using the MATTERPORT platform for over 4 years, and we provide Matterport model scanning and editing service.
Useful in many areas, from real estate promotion (probably the area in which it is most used) to the survey of homes, to the production of a measurable and visitable archive of properties, in tourism to show and promote rooms, bungalows and common areas. Furthermore, we have al14so gained a lot of experience in a less frequent area in terms of use, the survey of large and very large spaces. We have taken over warehouses with areas exceeding 150,000 square metres - we probably hold the record for the largest surface area scanned in the world in a single job -, with repetitive areas (difficult to detect as they easily generate errors), discovering systems and "tricks" to avoid such problems.
The generated model can be hosted on the client's Matterport space or, if it does not have one, on our space.
